My cat has a head gap, no infection. Vet visit or home care?

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | spayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 8 lbs

My cat has an 1 inch gap on her head. There are no signs of infection and ahe seems aa active as usual. Do we need to see a vet or can we care for it at home using sterile water and antibiotic ointmentz

It looks as if this may be a scar or a localized area of hair loss. I agree that it does not look infected. As long as it does not change or bother your cat I would not be worried about it.
