Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 13 years and 7 months old | 66 lbs
My groomer tells me my Golden Retriever has a smelly fungus along his outer lip. Is there a natural remedy?

The best thing you can do is to try to keep the area as clean and dry as possible. I understand this is going to be difficult though because it's on the mouth! You could try some medicated wipes, like Malacetic Ultra. These have an antifungal medication that may help clear it up. If you wanted something non-medicated you could try apply some vinegar diluted with water (50:50) and wipe it on the area. The vinegar may help take care of some of the yeast overgrowth. I would also keep a close eye on Dudley's ears. Yeast is the most common type of ear infection and it seems like he is prone to yeast overgrowth already. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
