Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 11 years old | 115 lbs
my dog has been diagnosed with acute rocy mountain spotted fever...he is on his 3rd day of allthe medicines prescibed by my vet,,.his appetite is good but has most of the symptons..does he have a chance for survival?? he is a 115 lb. black lan 9 yea rs old

It would really depend on his blood work and how he feels. If he is not showing signs of anemia or blood loss or a low platelet count, then that is a good sign. If the platelet counts drops then that is a sign it is more severe disease and harder to get over. As long as he is eating and running and walking around then stick with the medicines and the rechecks, but so far he seems to be handling it well so I would not fear the worst yet
