My 4-day-old puppy isn't feeding well and cries. What should I do?

Puppy is 4 days old and I have to like put her on the build and hold her there most times and she dies this thing where she's crying and just whipping her head around and I just in very scared i don't want her to die please help. I am sorry to hear Black Gold isn't feeding well- that can be very stressful on everyone. First make sure she doesn't need to potty- you need to wipe her under her tail with a warm washcloth to stimulate her to go. You may need to supplement her with puppy formula (called Esbilac) and a puppy formula bottle to make sure she is eating enough. There will be times when she isn't hungry, but I would offer her the bottle every 2-4 hours. Sometimes puppies do have a failure to thrive and there isn't anything you can do about that unfortunately. Good luck and kisses to your new puppy!
