withhold food for 12 hours then offer Poppi boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If Symptoms do not resolve or get worse, take him to the vet to get treatment.

That is likely to be due to the new environment and diet. I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, more evident lethargy or inappetence. The abrupt back and forth change in his diet is likely what caused the diarrhea. I would fast him for 24 hours, making sure to provide plenty of fresh water. When you resume feeding him, offer small amounts of plain boiled chicken breast or hamburger, no seasoning whatsoever with plain boiled white rice. Offer him a small amount several times a day, then gradually transition him back onto his regular food, starting with 1/4 regular food to 3/4 rice mixture, then the next day 50//50, then 75/25, until you have him back on his own food again. In the future, I recommend not feeding him so many leftovers, instead, a small amount as an occasional treat would be better. If at any time he starts vomiting, the diarrhea does not resolve, if he becomes lethargic or suffers any other adverse symptoms, get him in to see your vet right away.
