Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12 years and 4 months old | 25 lbs

My dog Kolby is a Bichon Havanese mix and is 12 years old, today he has been randomly making weird yelping sounds, once when he was playing with my cat and another when he was outside eating grass, he is also diabetic. Is everything ok?

This may be a sign of pain. If he is eating and drinking normally, then it is best to keep him calm today and try not to let him play so he can rest. If his appetite is changing, then I would have him checked as to monitor his diabetes. If he seems lethargic or becomes lame, then get him seen at an emergency clinic today. If it is still a problem tomorrow, then I would have him checked by your vet.
