Why is my cat coughing, sneezing, and throwing up foamy liquid?

My cat willow, 9months old is coughing and sneezing, she also has puked up liquid, with some foam she has been doing this for 2 days now, any advice? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 7 lbs

I am sorry to hear about Willow! It sounds like she could potentially have an upper respiratory infection. The puking could be a result of heavy coughing or she could have GI issues as well. I would recommend a vet visit to have her examined. Many of these kitties do end up needing antibiotics and we want to be sure there aren't any other causes for her symptoms. Until her appointment, you can try to aid in reducing her congestion by giving her a steam treatment in your bathroom a few times today. Placed her in the bathroom with the door shut and run the shower hot to create a steam effect for 10 minutes.
