What oral mange treatment for dogs starts with B? Is it effective?

Hi i spoke to my vet today about treatment my pup is getting for mange, shes is currently getting advocate but they are saying theres something else thats oral that begins with 'B' but i cant remember what its called. Im trying to find out if its worth trying, as my vet has said it seems to have worked better in theor experience.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I think your Vet is referring to Bravecto. Bravecto is an oral flea and tick medication that is given every 3 months. They have found that an extra benefit is that it can fight mange. I am not sure which type of mange your dog has; sarcoptic or demodectic mange. I have heard it is better for demodex. I have used Nexgard a once a month flea and tick medication for demodex. Hope this helps!
