My dog can't poop after enema, only gas. Is this an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 12 years and 4 months old | 51 lbs

My do went to the vet yesterday due to vomiting and general malaise. Had x-rays, no issues apparent. Received enema and released a lot of stool. Also received Cerenia and subcue fluids. Today she is trying to defecate with no success. She is passing a lot of gas. Is this an emergency or can I wait and take her to the vet tomorrow morning?

She may have gas and fluid left from the enema. Since you already had an exam and X-rays to make sure there was no obstruction and if she's feeling better and eating then you can watch her today. I'd take her for a walk and feed several smaller meals to get her intestinal tract back to normal. If she's still not well then I would take her in for a recheck.
