I am sorry that Dimitri is having this cough. It looks like according to the x-ray report he was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis. This is where the bronchi in the lungs are inflamed. There are medications Dimitri can go on long term to help with the cough and keep him comfortable. i am not sure what is available in the phillippines though, sorry. I would recommend when he has a coughing fit to keep him relaxed and as calm as possible. You can try putting him in the bathroom with you while you shower. sometimes the steam will help settle the lungs. If he is over weight , weight loss can help a lot with chronic cough. I would recommend consulting a vet or maybe getting a second option on his lungs and cough if you do not think he is feeling better. As far as him eating things this is most like a behavioral issue. I have a hard time linking it to the bronchitis. I would just to keep him away from things of this nature. He might vomit after a coughing attack due to the force of the cough.

Chronic bronchitis can be difficult and frustrating to treat. First, I would recommend that Dimitri be on a medication to help suppress his cough. This can help him stay more comfortable and prevent the episodes of vomiting that you are describing. When he does have the episodes of coughing I would discourage him from eating grass and other abnormal objects as this will just make the condition worse and could lead to other problems like gastritis or GI blocakages. If Dimitri seems to be having a flare up where the cough is worse then normal you may consider taking him to the vet to be checked out so you can be sure there is nothing else going on like an infection as well. If traditional therapy is not helping Dimitri you may want to consider asking your vet for a referral to an internal medicine specialist. These specialists have the capability to perform scopes of the airway to get a better idea what is going on. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
