My dog has large, non-painful moles. Should I get them removed?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female

Hello, i am a bit concerned for my pet dog, she has formed what looks like moles \on places on her body (two spots, one under her mouth and one on her chest) it doesn't look to hurt her, however they have become quite large and would like to seek advice on removing these. She has had these for about 7 months. Thank you!

These masses would be very easy to remove and Frankie would only require a short anesthesia. I would recommend that once the masses are removed they are submitted for histopathology analysis to get a definitve diagnosis. Keeping my fingers crossed that they are benign. Best of luck with Frankie!
