My unvaccinated cat has fever, vomiting, not eating. Is it distemper?

My 7 month old unvaccinated cat has had high fever, vomiting, lethargy and is refusing to eat or drink anything for the last 4 days. There are no 24 hour vets in my area and none are open until Monday. Does this sound like cat distemper? Is there anything I can do for him? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 17 days old | 4 lbs

What you describe could be feline distemper. It could be feline infectious peritonitis (the dry form) or another viral infection. Whatever ever is is, Butternut needs to see a veterinarian as soon as possible. Keep Buttermilk as comfortable as possible, leave plenty of fresh water available, offer canned food or even boiled chicken breast. Good luck.
