My mastiff mix pulls. How to safely walk a strong, reactive dog?

Hey I was just wondering how I could walk my male mastiff mix. He pulls on the leash I think I could handle him walking but I don't want to take a chance walking him and he sees a dog and I can't handle him. I really want to walk him but I don't want to take a risk of him hurting something. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 100 lbs

I would try to put a pinch collar on him or a gentle lead. Both of these Wil help slow him down when you pull on him. Also you need to get him into behavior classes to help teach him to listen to you and teach him to sit, heel, and be more socialized. I hope this helps!
