My cat is hacking wetly from her stomach for two days. What's wrong?

My cat is hacking, it sounds wet and is coming from her stomach. She's had it for 2 days now and I can't seem to find a reason why. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 4 years and 9 months old

Good day, cats can have issues with hair balls, especially if they have long hair. They can have a becterial infection that results in coughing. I have also see cats with a foreign body in their throat. She might also be nauseous and tries to vomit. Heart or lung disease can also sound like wet cough too. After all that said, I suggest a veterinary exam shortly. You veterinarian may consider an X-ray to investigate little deeper if the detailed exam does not give him/her an immediate answer for you.
