Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 29 days old
Hi, I picked up my new 8 week old Labrador puppy Tuesday so he has only been here a few days but I am finding it hard to get him to listen, is it too soon to rush training etc. The main thing is he keeps chasing our cat and trying to bite him ( even though it's playing it could be dangerous to the cat) do you have any advice on how I could try and stop the dog chasing the cat ? Thanks and kind regards

Training training and again training is the answer to your question!! Start with simple commands everyday, for 10-15 minutes. Yes rough play can be definitively dangerous for your cat (or for Jack!!) and I would monitor them very closely or even try to keep them separated until Jack is not disciplined enough.. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
