My senior Corgi is vomiting clear liquid and won't eat. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Welsh Corgi | Female | 13 years and 3 months old | 22 lbs

13 year old welsh corgi vomiting(4 times in last 24 hrs). Clear mucus-type liquid. Drinking normally, but not eating. No fever apparent.

Oh no, poor Lexi! This vomiting could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten, or something more serious such as liver disease, kidney disease, or cancer among others. It's good that she is drinking, and as long as she is keeping down the water, I can give you a home remedy to try. Withhold food until tomorrow morning, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps and she feels better soon!
