Hi. My 12 yr old shih tzu just got groomed and unnoticed she has loose skin under her chin. No idea how long it's been that way bc her fur was pretty long and her last grooming wasn't this short. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 12 years and 7 months old | 13 lbs

Loose skin is associated with weight loss and aging. I would weigh Biscuit and keep an eye on her weight over the next couple of months. A little weight loss ia normal in an older dog. However, too much or continued weight loss would be an indication that Biscuit may have an underlying medical condition and needs a check-up with her veterinarian.
