My dog rolled in dirt after a bath. Can I rinse him with water?

I just gave Nicco a bath Monday and today (Friday) he was rolling in dirt. Will it harm him if I give him a good rinse with plain warm water? Thank you.

How naughty of Nicco! No, it will certainly not harm him to either rinse in warm water or even give a full-blown bath with a gentle oatmeal pet shampoo or baby shampoo. We try to avoid frequent bathing on a routine basis since it can dry out the skin by decreasing some of the oils in the hair coat, however, sometimes situations arise where it is unavoidable!
