How to safely mist budgies for a bath while they are in their cage?

If I mist my budgies for their baths. Can I do it in the cage?

Yes. You can just spray through the cage bars. Use warm water in the spray bottle and set it on a fine mist setting. You may want to remove their food first so r doesn't get wet and I usually change papers in my birds' cages after misting because wet and poop covered papers will stink or may grow mold etc. just spray threw the bars and see how they react. The may move away at first then come back. Or it may take seve days or sessions to become used to it. Some birds never like it but others love their spray bottle baths.

    You can mist bath in her cage, but make sure to place a towel at the bottom of the cage prior to starting. Then remove this towel when she is done and dried off. Also ensure that the room that the cage isn't cool or breezy.
