You do not mention her current symptoms so it is difficult to address these. A probiotic such as fortiflora, antioxidants, liver aids such as zentonil or milk thistle, pain medications and frequent small meals of low fat or hydrolyzed diets can all help recovery. Repeat bloods to ensure stable or reducing white blood count is useful

I'm sorry to hear Juanita isn't feeling well. It sounds like she has made little improvement. The pancreas is a small organ, but when it is angry, it is very difficult to heal. The best treatment is what you are doing, but she really needs to eat. If she isn't doing that on her own, you need to discuss medications to stimulate her appetite, or have the vet place a feeding tube so you can feed her. Cats need to eat every day, and when she doesn't eat enough calories, her system can shut down making things much worse. Also, if not already done, I would recommend an abdominal ultrasound to make sure we aren't missing something else on top of the pancreatitis. At the rate she is currently going, her prognosis looks poor. I am sending good thoughts to you and Juanita!

I'm sorry Juanita was ill! Pancreatitis can be a recurring issue for some cats, your vet may recommend a particular type of food that may be easier for her to digest to help prevent further issues. Hopefully she won't have a chronic issue but it is difficult to tell based on the information provided.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would need a bit more information to be helpful: how old is Millie and what are her symptoms. What blood tests have been run? Millie could just have pancreatitis and need supportive care and time. I would have your Vet run a Maldigestion/malaborption profile which measure cobalamine, folate, TLI and PLI to help guide treatment. I would have her on antibiotics, anti-acids, anti-nausea and try to get her off prednisolone if she was on that prior to diagnosis of the irregular pancreas. I would be careful with CBD oil, cats do not metabolize drugs like dogs and people and it could make her sicker. Please repost or sign up for a consult if you have more details that would helps us help you better! I wish you and Millie the best!
