Dog has bad breath & dental issues. What products or chews can help?

Question

I was wondering if there are any products you could recommend for my dog's super bad breath! He has bad dental issues as it is and the vet said that brushing wouldn't really do much since his teeth are so bad. I'm looking for a product that can make his breath smell very fresh and help improve his dental health (I would prefer a chew of some sort, but if not that's okay). Hi there! I'm so thrilled to hear you're interested in helping Rocky with good dental hygiene! I encourage my clients to use products like Oravet dental hygiene chews or Virbac CET Veggie Sticks. Products like Clenzadent are also available as a sort of mouth rise to help with your pet's bad breath. The best thing, of course is a full dental under anesthesia to get the teeth free of excess calculus, but I understand this is more invasive than chews.
