My dog is suddenly clingy and restless. Should I take her to vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 8.8 lbs

My 4 to 5 year old chihuaha has become suddenly very clingy. She has always liked going up my shirt but she is in and out constantly and does not want to sit still. Ive checked her gums, heart rate and no sign of anything. Please help i dont want to lose my baby girl she is everything to me.

Hello there and thank you for your post! This type of behavior some dogs will exhibit when they are scared or not feeling well. Her gums and heart rate won't tell you everything but good job checking those. If she is seeming off to you, I would get her seen by a veterinarian so that a full physical examination can be performed in order to pin point any problematic areas on Yari. Blood work may be something to consider to get a better picture of what may be going on.
