How to stop my puppy from eating hair and prevent health issues?

It's gross but when my puppy is extracting its feces his feces hangs from him due to long strands of hair that he keeps eating from people which I have to pull out of him with napkins is there a way to stop his behavior and can his habit cause issues with his intestine's.

Yes it can cause issues with the intestines if he ingest large amount of hair, i'm still not sure where exactly he gets all these hairs from though. you could use a hairball paste for cats, that can help dissolving and passing the hair but obviously the hair ingestion is the main thing that you need to prevent from him to do.
