My dog had a seizure about a month ago 4days later his eyes were infected and very red. The ointment they gave him for his eye wasn't working. I took him to another vet, they said he had a cut in his left eye. They gave a shot of antibiotics an antibiotic drop just for the left eye and Rimidyl for 10 days. Its been 4 days and the eye does not look like its getting any better. The right eye is still infected too. please help me

Although a picture would be essential to determine clinical development, if you think there is no improvement at all, I would recommend to have it checked again immediately. Certain type of corneal ulcers can actually start melting and get worse very rapidly. Different type of antibiotics or treatment may be needed. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

I am not sure exactly what is wrong with diesel but it should like a possible corneal ulcer. This is where there is damage to the cornea like a scratch. Corneal ulcers can be very difficult to cure. If you feel like Diesel's eye is not getting better I would highly recommend taking him to a vet specialist for eyes just like in human medicine. Vets can specialize in eyes and are better at handling hard to resolve issues like corneal ulcers.
