How much time does dog vocal cords may take to recover from hoarseness rough bark after barking excessive? For him its been 16 days now i can say there is slight improvement or may be not as it is hard to tell so can it may take longer also to recover or what? Is it safe to give him dog artificial chew bones in this condition?

The time it takes varies from dog to dog. If he has lost his bark from excessive barking, it will eventually come back. Artificial chew bones are ok to give but be cautious as the hard chews can break teeth and if he chews chunks off and swallows them, this could pose a risk for an intestinal obstruction. If you are concerned about his bark, you could always have a vet examine him to ensure everything else is ok and to figure out if there is another cause of his hoarse bark.
