Why does my senior beagle's paw growth keep swelling and reappearing?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | 13 years and 3 months old | 37 lbs

Can there be a small "limpoma" growth on my 13 year old beagles paw (between her toes). When she licks it, it puffs up then recedes but will not go away. A few monthes ago it was surgically removed. ($385) but reappeared. She has A few much larger limpomas on her body and rear.

Lipomas can appear anywhere but don't typically get larger then smaller. I would suspect more of a cyst or inflammatory lesion to swell up or recede. If the mass was sent for hisptopath when removed that report may give more info about possible recurrence. I would suggest a vet exam to see if she has some infection or inflammation causing swelling to the feet.
