I suggest you take him soon. I usually recommend vaccines one year after ends of puppy shots. After that, vaccine schedule for years to come and can be adjusted following his lifestyle (aka, exposure to other dogs, outdoor activities ). During the visit, In addition to vaccines, a thorough exam should be performed. It is also a good time to discuss any concerns you may have. Where I work in Florida, it is also the time we test for heartworms and discuss heartworm prevention. In a nutshell, Loxus should be going to the vets shortly! PS, I live in Florida but grew up and went to vet school in Canada,

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Typically dogs get their puppy vaccines, then get vaccine boosters one year later (for Rabies and distemper). Depending on if Loxus is at risk of exposure, he may need bordetella or an influenza vaccine (these are given yearly). Based on the normal vaccination schedules it is likely that Loxus is due at this time. The veterinarian that gave the initial vaccines should be able to let you know exactly what he is due for. Hope this helps!
