What would make a poodle drink a lot of water and then throw up white stuff. Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed | 16 years and 3 months old

Hi there. Sorry Gracie isn't feeling well Unfortunately many things can present like this in pets. With your pet's age and status of unspayed, I would actually worry most about a few things: pyometra (uterine infection), kidney disease, liver disease, and diabetes. I would recommend having her seen as soon as you can due to her advanced age. Likely your vet will recommend blood work to make sure everything is functioning normally. Based on the findings there, they can come up with an appropriate treatment plan. I hope this helps and that she feels much better soon.
