Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 41 lbs

My dog has a sore on his face. It is raised and scabbed over. I thought it was a tick and pulled it off....now it's bleeding.

I would hold pressure on it to stop the bleeding. Then you can use neosporin on it twice a day and make sure he isn't scratching it. If it isn't improving or it is getting worse, I would see your vet to make sure he doesn't need any oral antibiotics. I hope this helps!
