My cat has daily seizures. Phenobarbital isn't working. What can I do?

My cat has grand mal seizures daily or every other day. she is on phenobarbital half pill twice daily. they dont seem to be working since seizures are almost daily, and blood tests were neg. for any diseases. what else can i do to help her? i love this cat but this is becomming very difficult to care for her with my limited budget as well. any advice other than putting her down?

The phenobarbital level in her blood should be checked to make sure she gets enough of it daily. Other medicine can be tried (Potassium Bromide for example). I sure hope this input will help Stormy. Good luck.
