Why won't my male Rottweiler get an erection for breeding? Is he sick?

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 115 lbs

My rottweiler cant get an erection for breeding why is that? And can I fix it?

It is possible that his equipment works just fine, but the bitch is not ready to breed and he knows this. Some dogs will try to breed anything, anytime--even a fire hydrant--while others are very good at judging just the right time to approach the bitch. Bshop may be one of those dogs. If you are certain that the bitch is ready, and he is not interested, he may have a hormone problem rather than a functional one. It is best, in that case, to have him seen by the vet.
