Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 4 days old | 2.2 lbs
Symptoms; lethargy, refusal to eat, back leg weakness Visited vet when condition deteriorated. Vet was uncertain what was wrong, prescribed an anti-parasitical and doxycycline hyclate. She got better for 2 days and then became worse than before. Same symptoms now with tremors. Returned to vet, blood work (Vet said resulted in nothing), took off of doxy placed on Clindamycin hydrochloride. She is drinking but not eating unless forced, still has some weakness, Feces alternates soft/hard.

Poor Little Bit! In a young cat an infectious disease would have to be high on the list. I would be suspicious that she could have the dry form of FIP, eventhough the bloodwork is not showing typical changes that usually occur with the disease. Unfortunately, FIP is difficult to diagnose but you could ask your vet about doing an xray and ultrasound of her abdomen to look for changes. Hope she feels better soon!
