What can I give my small dog for an inflamed lip sore before the vet?

My dog has a sore on her lower lip. It started 2-3 days ago, is a little inflamated, she has eaten well, but seems to be uncomfortable. What can I give her for that until I get to go to the vet, tomorrow or on Friday? Is a small dog. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 40 lbs

Do not give any otc pain medications to pets. They metabolize then differently and many are toxic. You can try using warm compresses for 5-10 minutes to see if that helps. I would try to get her to the vet as soon as you can. I'm a bit worried there could be infection from looking at the swelling.
