why is my dog pooping blood? It's all blood, no poop and also there are blood clots. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | neutered | 8 years and 2 months old | 10.2 lbs

It sounds as Puddles is suffering from a severe gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. i would recommend taking him to the vet urgently, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
