Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 24 days old | 3 lbs
Hi, I have a 10 week old kitten that came down with pneumonia over the past week. It started over the weekend and on Monday, I took him to the vet. He was the only vet not charging crazy prices. He has gotta two antibiotic shots and is eating really well but not drinking much. I am mixing water into his wet food, though. The vet seemed to think he is doing well and didn't ask me to come back with him. Is two antibiotic shots enough? I am monitoring him very closely and he's improving but i worry

It depends on exactly which shots were given. There are some long acting antibiotic injections that are equivalent to a 10 day course of antibiotics. If your kitten was given one of those, then that may be enough. You will have to continue to monitor him and make sure he is getting better every day. The canned food contains a lot of moisture, so it is common for an animal not to drink much if they eat wet food.
