What are these non-itchy skin-colored bumps in my puppy's ears?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 4 months old | 33 lbs

My 4 month old staffy cross has multiple skin-coloured bumps on the inside of both ear flaps. They don't seem to itch or hurt the dog. Just wondering what they are really, and if I need to do anything about them?

These bumps can be caused by fly or mosquito bites, allergies/hives, or infection. You can apply a benadryl cream to the ears, but if it gets worse or more bumps appear within the next 24 hours, I recommend that Barret be checked out by a veterinarian.
