My dog has a wet cough and purple belly spot. Is this an emergency?

Chi Mix has had slight cough and it sounds wet when he breathes at times. Also just noticed a small area on his belly that looks discolored. While it is usually pink, an area has turned a light purple, almost like a bruise. Its not his entire belly , just the area near his right leg. I have an appointment tomorrow is this urgent? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 15.5 lbs

If he has a wet cough along with a possible bruise I would try to get him into the vet asap. They may be unrelated but if he has a clotting disorder it can result with bleeding into the lungs which can be serious. Definitely get him in today if he is lethargic or acting sick along with these signs.
