Why is my dog's soft, orange, pancake-like poop causing weight loss?

My dog startes pooping orsnge to yellow soft but discernable poop last couple weeks. Just yesterday it turned to a softer more fluid but not watery or oily pancake type poop. He has lost some weight but axts like a normal healthy 3yr old. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old | 90 lbs
