How to stop a stray cat from entering my house and harming my chicks?

A stray cat ate my chicks and is coming in our house to eat more chicks.I don't know what to do.I don't want it to come in our house.what should I do.

I am so sorry to hear that this has happened. So very upsetting. If you can identify the entry point for the stray cat I would try and find a way to close it or prevent the cat coming in again. If the cat is in your house now and you feel you can get it out safely using perhaps a broom to scare it out without injuring yourself or the cat. I would suggest that. If not try calling animal control to remove the cat from your home.

    Provide a secure coop or enclosure for them. If they are very young, consider keeping them indoors until they are older. Use a small animal repellant along the border of your yard or property. One can be purchased online or at most hardware/home improvement stores.
