Can I feed my 8-week-old kitten adult cat food if I can't find it?

I have a 8 week old kitten and in my area there are shops like co op, pet shops, local shops and more but they only sell adult cat food and the only thing that is for kittens mosty is cat milk and some treats that are for kittens. But apart from that there isn't really kitten food. Can i feed it a bit of adult food?
