Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Female | 11 months and 29 days old

My african grey parrot has been tested +ve for PBFD. I feel so disappoined. I love her so much as she is so smart and affectionate to all members of the family and especially me . Please let me know if there are any hopes or if there is a cure for this fatal disease .

I'm very sorry to hear that. unfortunately PBFD is a fatal disease in African Grey parrots, i am sorry to say there is no hope, it is just a question of time. if Cloudy is not symptomatic yet then it's not possible to know when the disease will burst but she could have many more months to live, if the symptoms already started then he she does not have much more time i'm afraid.
