My dog stopped vomiting. Is it normal? Should I give the medicine?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Husky | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 59 lbs

My dog did vomit as 1 vomit each 2 to 3 days for 3 times, but this is the fifth day he didn't vomit. Is this normal? I took cash to the vet and he gave me a medicine (picture is attached) should I give my dog the medicine, or there is no need?

If your dog has not been vomiting for five days this is great news! I would continue to give the medication that your veterinarian prescribed until it is gone. If you notice the symptoms are returning and I would call the vet to ask about an antinausea medication, or see if you need to bring Cash in for a recheck.
