I am so sorry that Bradley is sick. Vomiting and diarrhea in puppies can occur for multiple reasons. It can be a food change, parasites, an obstruction in the stomach or intestines or an infectious disease like Parvo. You can start by trying to feed him plain boiled chicken and rice. If it is something minor, this may help him get over it. If he continues with the vomiting and diarrhea, it is best that you take him to a veterinarian. If he is obstructed or has Parvo, these are both very serious things that require treatment by a veterinarian.

Hello there! I'm sorry to hear that Bradley is sick. Unfortunately, with puppies that have not completed their vaccination series, there is always a risk that symptoms including lethargy, diarrhea, and vomiting, especially with blood in it, could indicate parvovirus. Parvo is a very deadly disease that affects dogs' intestinal tract, causing dehydration, internal bleeding, and potentially death. Even with treatment, only 50% of dogs survive infection with parvo, so immediate and aggressive care is required for them to have a chance at survival. Now, that being said, Bradley's symptoms could be something more simple, like a dietary indiscretion (eating something he wasn't supposed to), parasites (worms), or another kind of virus, however he still needs treatment if he is lethargic. Vomiting and diarrhea in a puppy can lead to dehydration very quickly, especially if they are unable to keep fluids down, and dehydration can also be deadly for a young dog. I completely understand financial hardship - I have been there, myself - but Bradley needs more help than you can give him at home right now. Consider trying for CareCredit - this is a credit card that is used specifically for veterinary expenses, and most emergency hospitals allow you to apply right at the desk. I was approved when I was 18 and had no credit, so it is worth a try. Asking for help from family and friends can be difficult, but it is sometimes a surprising way to collect funds for a sick dog, especially when they know how much you love him. There may also be low-cost clinics in your area - as a matter of fact, there is one close to you that sees sick pets for $20: Economy Pet Clinic 1100 Murphy Rd(FM 1092), Suite C Missouri City, TX 77459 (832) 539 6067 The last option is one that no one wants to hear, but needs to be said. If you truly cannot afford his care, please do not feel any shame in surrendering him to a shelter where he can get the care he needs. His health and wellbeing is the most important thing - I know that you care for him, so please consider this if there is no other option. Good luck, and I hope that Bradley gets the care he needs and gets well soon!
