About 2 weeks ago my dog received his rattlesnake vaccine. About a week later he developed a lump about the size of a half dollar. Tonight it has discharge and blood coming from it. Why did this happen and how should I care for it?

Hi. It ,osteoporosis likely is an inflammatory response, and now may be possibly infected. I recommend placing ice on it for 5-7 min a few times over the evening. Call your veterinarian in the morning. I recommend asking your veterinarian to premedicate with benadryl before the next vaccine
