Is it safe to give my spayed dog Apoquel and amoxicillin together?

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 20 lbs
Hello my dog was just spayed and was given amoxicillin. She was also given some apoquel a couple of weeks back because of seasonal allergies. Would it be safe to give her the apoquel and amoxicillin?

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Good question regarding Apoquel. Apoquel use along with many other medications has been evaluated and antibiotics with Apoquel shouldn't have any drug interactions. So please go ahead and continue the Apoquel as directed for her allergies. I hope Rae recovers well from her surgery.

These two medications can be given together without risking any significant interactions. Unfortunately I am not able to give drug dosing recommendations as per guidelines of Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach, but this information should be readily available in several veterinary drug formularies or by speaking with your primary care veterinarian.
