Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 2 years and 7 months old
Hi, My parents won't tell me what happened, but my I found my budgie unable to stand up or walk. I put it in an isolated cage beside me for the night, and it kept screaming in pain once in a few seconds. I can't afford to go to a vet, so is there any natural remedies I can try to give her? Thank you

Unfortunately, without knowing what is wrong with him there aren't really any remedies that can be given unless you see a visible wound or injury. It's possible he may have been injured by flying into an object, or even having a stroke or other underlying issue that caused it. If you can't get to the vet, keeping Tulip in a separated hospital cage with easy access to food and water may help, as well as using only low, wide perches to make it easier for him to stand and shortening any falls he may have. If you can't afford care, this site may also help provide you with some ideas to make it more affordable, so that Tulip can get the care he needs: (some of these may be US only, however there should be equivalent programs in Canada) http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_veterinary_care.html
