Can guinea pigs get ringworm from me? What treatments work, and are essential oils safe?

I have ringworm that I got from a friends cat. I have 13 guinea pigs and I was wondering if guinea pigs can get ringworm from humans? If they do end up getting it what treatments can I use? would essential oils work? Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old

Guinea pigs can get ringworm so they would be at risk. Ringworm is treated topically with things like miconazole when the lesions are small and uncomplicated, or with oral medications like itraconazole. Essential oils would not work and I would not recommend them.
