My male dog is marking curtains. What are effective ways to stop him?

My male dog keeps peeing on my curtains. I keep washing them but he just goes back and does it again. He won't stop. I don't know what else I can do? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | unneutered | 5 years and 9 months old

They do make a pheromone color and spray/diffuser for dogs to help with behavioral problems but it may not work for this particular area but worth a try. Getting him neutered is the best optio to help with marking behavior. You may have to keep the curtains pulled up for a while to get him to break the habit or find a way to mark off that area so he can't get to it.
