My dog has roundworms. Can I use liquid piperazine instead of Panacur?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 47 lbs

My dog tested positive for round worms they said to give her pancur I know she will not eat with the granule in her food can I give her liquid piperazine citrate instead

Piperazine only works for roundworms. Panacur treats roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. We prefer to treat all the worms as dogs can often have low levels of other types of worms that may not show up in the fecal exam. You can try mixing the granules in yogurt or even a few table spoons of vanilla (not chocolate!) ice cream to hide the flavor.
