Why does my male dog have recurring bleeding spots on his testicles?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 46 lbs

I have a standard poodle that had a bleeding ulcer on his testis. Vet said it was trauma,we did an antibiotic treatment and that subsided. Its a week since last AB injection and i am seeing new spots on his testicles which i think will flare up to be the ulcers as before. Do you have any idea what the underlying condition might be, as I am at a loss and the vets locally available just treat the symptoms and call it quits after a week of antibiotics.Attached current photos with old spot visiible

It could be from over licking the area or possibly from laying on the testicles for too long. it could also be a recurring infection which is not uncommon on the testicles. the main options are to have another course of antibiotics this time for a longer period. by the way having him neutered will also solve this issue.
